Svelt snowy form padded its way down the beaten path for a while, tongue lolling as the canine made its way to the lake that was only just ahead. Speeding from her jog, the female german shepherd sped in a lope as her pads sank into the sand. She kept up that pace until she started feeling the water splash around her frame. She stopped and sat down, deep brown orbs looking about herself calmly. Her boy wouldn't mind her being gone, so long as nothing happened to her, and frankly, nothing ever had. From her sitting position, she lay down in the shallows, letting the water flow over and around her frame, coolling her off. Though she didn't quite need it, being white and all.

Moonlight's head turned quickly scenting someone or something wandering along the path she'd just delved off of. Spotting the shadowy form, she thought it was Shadow for a moment before the bulk proved her quite wrong. She eyed the other female calmly as she stood up and shook out her sodden pelt, droplets flying everywhere and for a brief second a rainbow may have been visible, but the white bitch didn't notice. Moonlight padded onto the sand and sat down, her head tipping in the charactertic way of the german shepherd. Clearly asking who the other was, and who her owner would be. And maybe, if she was apart of the same stable.

Sheba watched as the strange female shook the water from her pelt and came closer. She cocked her head to one side slightly as she watched the white female. My name is Sheba, my owner is Eleanor Elliott. She goes to school at the Desert Sun Stables. Who are you? She asked politely, as she continued to look at the other dog and wonder who she was. She wondered if their owners knew each other or not.

Moonlight shifted her hinds calmly, plume curling around slightly. "Moonlight, my boy is Jared Warren, he's part of the Desert Moon Stables." She said calmly. She knew there was a rivalry between the two stables, and she'd been practising her herding so she would excel to help her Jared look even better. Though she honestly felt that her partner, Shadow, and that blasted cat, Sahara, would ruin his chances, but she'd try her hardest. "So why are you around here?" She asked calmly. She was just curious, geez. Not like she felt she had to know everything about everyone.

Sheba's ears perked slightly as she listened to the other dog speak. She knew that there was a rivilry between the two schools and she has practiced her agility, and herding as hard as she could, but she excells at obidiance. She has devoted herself to her girl, and hoped that the horse and cat would pitch in a little to, but that was getting your hopes up. I know there is a rivilry between our two schools, but do you think we could still be friends as long as our owners don't find out? Or any other animals for that matter? She asked sweetly, she didn't have any friends at her girl's school, so she hoped that this dog would be her friend.

Moonlight's harks flicked slightly. "I dun see why we couldn't, unless we end up competeing against each other since I know my boy plans on showing me." She said calmly. She sat almost completely still, only her maw moving when she spoke, or occasionally her plume as it swept across the sand. She yawned suddenly, showing her teeth briefly before laying down in the cool sand. Wasn't turning out to be such a bad day now was it?

Sheba's ears twitched slightly as she listened to Moonlight speak. She smiled slightly, her canines showing a little. She was glad she had finally made a friend, normally she stayed by herself because she was training, but she liked the feeling of having company other than a horse and a cat. I agree, in compatitions we are rivils, otherwise, were friends. I'm glad your my friend Moonligh. She said kindly, she was genuinly happy now. She knew that there would come a day when they would be competeing against eachother, but until then, they would be friends and for that Sheba was happy. She laid down and rapped her plume around her.

Moonlight's head shot up and turned around, looking over her shoulder as she heard a familiar step and sighed slightly when she noticed who it was. "'Bout time you showed up Shadow." She said coolly as she turned around to look at the larger black bitch.
Shadow padded along swiftly, nose to the ground as he followed the scent of his white friend. He looked up curiously when the scent was the freshest it had been lately and saw his partner lieing down with another, larger black dog near her. He bared his teeth slightly at Moonlight's comment before sitting down, facing the two females. "I had to practice with our boy and you had a headstart anyways." He said coldly to the white bitch before turning to the black one. "My name is Shadow." He said simply.

Sheba sat up when she heard a strange footstep. She looked at Moonlight and listened as her and the other dog spoke. She nodded her head to the male dog when he addressed her. My name is Sheba. She said calmly, as she laid back down near her friend. She looked at the other two and wondered what Shadow would do when he found out that she was from the Desert Sun Stables and was a friend of Moonlight's.

Moonlight growled when Shadow pawed at her. "Buzz off. Jared knows that I'll be fine and I'm prolly gonna have to stay out here and make sure you don't get lost." She said curtly, eyeing the male dog with her deep amber eyes coldly.
Shadow yawned slightly before standing up and pawing at Moonlight, jumping back out of her striking range. "The boy wants to work with you soon you know right." He said coolly. He grumbled slightly. "I can take care of myself." He said calmly before turning to the ebon female. "You don't look or smell familiar, you're not from the same stable as us are you?" He asked calmly. He ahd explored the main part quite well after all, so he figured he knew everyone and thing there.

Sheba watched and listened as the two dogs quarled. She sighed slightly, then looked up at the male when he spoke to her. No, no I'm not. I'm from Desert Sun Stable. She ansered politely. She didn't feel like fighting at that moment. She just wanted a friend and to relax.

Moonlight's deep orbs rolled in their sockets. "Hey Shadow, Sahara's after you're tail again." She said coolly. Her upper lip curled slightly at the male's reaction. "Such a gullible idiot. I'll be along soon, geesh. Can't have a moments peace." She said muttering, mostly to herself. She stood up and stretched lazily. "Sorry about Shadow, he's a coward and an idiot." She said calmly.
Shadow stood up and spun around quickly. He hated that cat with a passion, and it was sneaky as hell. He turned and eyed Moonlight coldly. "Tell me how it feels when that cat lands on your back or tail when you're sleeping and tell me if you wouldn't paranoid?!" He basically yelled, harks flicking back slightly.

Sheba cocked her head to one side when she heard Moonlight tell Shadow that someone was after his tail. She gave him a very quizical look. She looked over at Moonlight and nodded. I know how you feel. She said as she sighed remembering Hunny. She yawned, stood up, and stretched tiredly. She wondered what the two of them would argue about next.
