Adam Vuori walked towards the paddocks, particularly one with a much higher fence than the others. He smiled smugly to himself. So it was the start of a new year now it seemed. He glanced around calmly, waving causally to any newcomers as he was greeted by a sudden scream of a stallion. Adam's smile dropped slightly seeing his horse acting up slightly. "Enough Necromancer." He called out sharply, making the horse simply toss his dial and shift in place. Adam let himself into the pen and clipped the lead onto the stallion's finely carved face. His well trained eyes scouring every part of the stallion's frame for any flaws as he rubbed Necromancer's face calmly. His attention shifted thinking he'd heard someone behind him causing the stallion to lift his head high and snort loudly in his owner's ear. The stallion's ears where pricked as he looked towards the fence.

Darian gave a light twitch of the leather lead rope and the mare quickly responding, catching up to her in quick strides. The sleek bay mare, with desirable features, was almost as snitty as Darian. They were headed towards the paddock. Matara raised her crown to the sky, audits pressed forward as Darian kept her tightly to her side. Oh god, its somebody else. A sulky smile was etched onto her face as she began to pass him. Matara flattened her audits and squealed, enamels bared and she reached out to place a firm nip on the Arabian stud's flanks. Darian calmly pulled Matara to her other hip and patted her gently, Good girl. She mustered under her breath before speaking to the quite handsome gentleman, Oh dear, I apologize. Matara can be a little mean sometimes.

Adam let the stallion go when he bolt lashing out with his hinds and he frowned, brow furrowing seeing that the fur was misshapen. He turned hearing a voice. Stupid girl, if she knew the horse had problems with meaness she should keep her away from other horses. "You're lucky that horse isn't severely hurt or that mare would be shipped out of here. I will not have one horse ruining the rest in my stable." He said curtly. He eyed her calmly and her horse. Not a bad pair but he'd seen better. He turned and eyed his stallion calmly that had returned to stand behind him, half rearing and lashing out with his fores and snorting loudly. A loud scream erupted from the stallion before his owner gathered his lead. He stood calmly, pawing at the ground and tossing his head high, but doing nothing else since he knew what could happen. No sugar cubes or carrots, or apples for a week!

Mai had been in the paddocks for just a while that morning, wanting to visit with her Firecracker before heading off to begin their morning training routine. She had been laying on the grass, a few carrots on her stomach, one in her hand that she was currently sharing with the pinto mare. Each one taking bites off of opposite ends, as they often did in the mornings. Breakfast. Yum. So far, it had been quiet, and the two girls had been relaxing with the sounds of simple nature. That is, until a rather loud ruckus came from just a bit away; a stallion scream and a few angry snorts. Both Mai and Firecracker had jumped, and looked in the direction and immediately Mai thought that two stallions had broken loose, and gone at it. Quickly, the German girl lept to her feet and slipped onto Fire's back just as the mare was starting to rise, carrots falling forgotten on the ground. Grasping a handful of mane, Mai didn't need to give any urging as the two shot off so quickly that she thought she might loose her seating. It took a moment to get to the other side of the paddock and after getting close enough to see that it was only Necromancer and another mare, instead of two raging Stallions, Mai allowed herself to relax, but only a bit. Firecracker slowed to a trot and stopped a few yards away from Adam, letting Mai slide off and walk over quickly. "Is everyzing alright Adam?" She asked, a bit worried. Having been at Desert Moon for about a year and a half, she had grown fond of the Arabian stag, and always had a carrot left over for him when she came back to the stables. Fire snorted from her place a few yards away and gave the familiar stag a nicker of greeting, pawing the ground with a fine dagger as a hello. Audits flickered toward them all and her banner lashed her flank as she took a few more steps toward Mai, not liking to be so far away from her young filly.

Darian smirked as he spoke rather bluntly and she replied with innocent little words of her own, Oh dear it was quite silly of me, now wasn't it? It was all young Darian could do to not burst out laughing at her incredible antics. However her attention was drawn from this fellow to Matara, she was standing calmly, attention pressed forward. It seemed after her earlier spat she was fine now, hind leg cocked in relaxtion. Her muzzled lipped gently at Darian's cuffs, keeping a wary on the stag and his colt. Darian once more rolled her eyes as another do gooder came riding along. Please spare me this little love fest. Darian snatched the remaining length in Matara's lead and held it tight, Matara's attention was directed towards the pinto mare, however her eyes were soft and curious. Needless to say Matara wasn't so fond of studs. Daraian impatiently waited for the gentleman's answer, her time was wearing down as was her own patience. He must be the stable owner, but it didn't stop Darian. She knew where she stood and was knowledgable in the world of horses, he should've kept his glue-factory reject off the path. No no, that isn't very polite of me now is it? The stud was quite a sharp looking creature, and as my eyes drifted back to Matara, he would fit her nicely.

Adam rubbed his hand down the stallion's frame calmly until he came to the mussed fur and patted it back back. "Take it easy Necromancer." He said calmly returning to his head and rubbing it. "Yes, and you better learn who's horses to keep your miserable little piece of horseflesh from because I will not have some rag-tag like that ruining the quality show horses." He said coldly. Idiotic little girl. He should just ship her out of his stables right now. He turned and nodded calmly to Maian when she arrived with her mare. "Yeah that tempermental little mare decided to try and harm Necro." He said calmly. The stallion tossed his head angrily with ears pinned, seeming to glare at the solid pelted mare. He swung his dial to face his owner calmly. "I know Necro." Adam said rubbing the grey stud's head. He knew the stallion would like nothing better than to take a chunck out of the mare's hide right now. Necro's dial turned eyeing the newest arrival calmly, a low whinny rumbling from his chest as he recognized the mare and human.

Mai blinked as Adam seemed to scold the girl and insult the(in her opinion) rather fine looking mare at the end of the lead.. She did not yet know either of their names.. Blinking, Mai came back to attention when Adam addressed her again and explained to her why Necromancer had caused such a ruckus. "Ah, I see. I vas wondering why he vas making such noise. We could hear him from zeh other side of zeh paddock.." She said with a sigh, her accent a bit heavier in her slight breathlessness of the ride.. Digging into her hoodie pocket, she took a moment to find the carrot she always managed to save for the stag. Lifting it from her pocket she offered it to him as she normally did, glancing to the newcomers easily. "Em. I'm not sure we've been properly introduced.. I'm Maian... or, Mai.. this is Firecracker.." She said easily to the girl, her tone taking a bit of an edge to it, still unsure if the girl was to become an enemy or not. Hearing her name, Fire looked up from her place now just behind Mai's shoulder, audits coming forward again.. Taking in the new mare and her filly she snorted and gave another greeting to them. Hearing Necromancers own reply to her she gave her crown a toss before stretching her boa to give Adam a slight nudge with her muzzle, as if she where saying 'Hey, I'm greeting you as well.'

Darian->I turned a bit amused at the man's insult towards Matara. Well my apologies sir, i'll remember to keep my pile of horseflesh away from the likes of yours. Matara strained against the leather lead, not even in knowing that she had just been insulted. I then directed my attention towards the girl, Mai. I smiled, because much like Matara I preferred that of a girl's company over a male's. I was straight, but I saw no reason in trying to make opposites attract with this rather rude man. If he knew much about horses atall, then he should know that this was my first day and upon arrival in a new area horses are zesty and a bit insecure. However it was obvious that he was in no mood to make acceptions, and would much rather be hateful. Hi Mai, I am Darian and this is Matara. I grazed my hand across her ebon forelock.
Matara TS-> Oh dear it appears i've upset the stag and his colt. Whatever shall I do? Hah, he shoulda stepped out the way. My attention was turned from the stag and pressed forwards to a rather warm looking pinto mare and her filly. I nickered a greeting, and attempted to go forwards and exchange scents, but my own filly kept my head close to her body. Audits were pricked and amusement at the whole situation flickered through my deep visionaries. I swatted my banner, ridding the few flies that had made haste upon my hide. I was sleek, my filly liked to keep me clipped even through the winter months, and it didn't bother me. The sun that had appeared through parted clouds cast warm rays upon me, and I gleamed in the light. I began to nibble lightly at my filly's pocket, at the passing of carrots I knew she too would have me one. However that was abrupt when she pushed me away with her soft hand. I sighed, just let me go in the paddock.

Adam frowned slightly but said nothing until he felt a muzzle prodding him. He smiled slightly. "'fraid I don't have anything for you right now Firecracker." He said calmly and reached out to rub her forehead gently. You know, if that other mare hadn't tried to take a chunk out of his beloved stallion then he wouldn't be fuming right now. He watched the others calmly and only shifted when Necromancer stuck out his head and lipped at the carrot before retracting his head. He nodded his dial happily as he chewed. Adam glanced back into another high fenced paddock and smiled slightly to himself. "Stand Necromancer, and no funny business." He said sternly, watching as the horse merely relaxed one hind leg and followed him with his gaze, wondering where he was going. Adam smiled every so slightly to himself. "I'll be right back." He said calmly and striding off after unclipping the stallion's lead. Why? Well because he knew the horse was ground tied and normally never moved if he still had his halter on at least. Adam reached the pen he'd been looking at and patted the finely carved dial that soon forced it's way towards him, snuffling curiously before retreating. He chuckled slightly and let himself in and clipped the lead to the snowy mare's halter and lead her back towards the small group. Apocalypse danced along beside her owner, tossing her dial high and snorting loudly, picking up her talons high and placing them with the utmost care, twisting sideways when she spotted other horses. Her harks pinned against her boa, but a slight flick of the shank distracted her. She was halted a good distance away from most of the horses, except for the grey stallion who she reached out with her fine muzzle and squealed loudly when he'd done the same and danced backwards but was firmly anchored by the man holding the lead. Adam smirked every so slightly to himself. He glanced at Mai. "What do you think of her?" He asked calmly. Now he did know good horses when he saw them, but he almost wanted to show off the white mare next to his storm stallion. Snow mare, Storm stallion. Apocalypse, Necromancer. Weird....he sure was morbid.....

Mai smiled at Fire's exchange with Adam and looked to Necromancer, whom had taken his carrot happily and stood chewing it with a bouncing crown. Firecracker had leaned into Adam's scratches, and lowered her cranium with a snort, before bringing it back up and lipping at Mai's shoulder. Her audits flickered once toward the new mare, and once back from where they had come from.. Seeing Necromancer get the carrot they always left over for him made Firecracker want to go and finish the rest of her own carrots; the breakfast they had left behind. She lowered her nose to the back of Mai's shoulder and pushed slightly, letting her filly know how she was feeling. Mai had given Darian a slight smile and nodded, "Lovely to meet you both.." She said easily as Adam wordlessly excused himself and went to a different paddock for a moment. He returned soon after with a rather beautiful snow-white mare at his side, the pure built Vix prancing along; flicking her harks back at them all, before sharing a scent with Necromancer with a squeal. Mai was a bit awestruck; Adam sure knew how to pick 'em, and boy did he get the cream of the crop with this one.. His question of her opinion shook her out of her slight daze and she gave a smile. "Oh meine Güte!! Sie ist beautiful Adam!" Mai exclaimed lightly, overcome for a moment by her German roots, the language flowing from her tongue easily. If anything, it made her expression a bit more powerful than it would have been in English.. That and she often slipped, so used to speaking it around her family.. "What ist her name? Where did you find her?" Mai asked, before stopping herself from asking anymore questions. She was always excited when he got new horses(which was rare), and knew that they had to be impressive for him to even consider. She blinked as she was bumped by Firecracker, and placed a hand back to stroke her velvety muzzle, silently promising that they would return to their 'breakfast'. At the arrival of the new mare, Firecracker lifted her cranium from Mai, audits flickered forward. She had never seen this mare before either, and so gave her crown a toss and whickered a greeting, wondering where all the new horses had come from..

I nodded in return to Mai. She seemed nice enough, but was obvious that she too was in no mood to deal with a mess such as me. I turned, letting my eyes graze over Matara. Her fath, Marwan Al Shaqab, was the sire of many World Champion and at one point in his career was crowned with the title himself. She was out of a straigh Egyptian Arabian halter mare, her features were so precise that her fragile muzzle could fit in a teacup. Her harks were pricked in anticipation as Adam strode off, without a word, and brought back...oh my god. Before I could even think I had curtly blurted out, Her lines. They have to be Shaqab. Please tell me that I am right. I was excited at this new discovery. Her outline, her figure, she was almost identical to Matara, except for the colouring which had to be from her father. Wow, let us just say that my respect and judgement of this Adam has changed drastically.
A smile had stretched across my filly's features, and I saw the mare. She was nothing more than me, and unfortunately nothing less. Her scent, it wasn't familiar, but her physique was much like mine. I reached forward with my muzzle, nazal passages inhaling to get her scent. I lipped gently at her tresses, giving a slight squeal as my filly twitched the horrid thing that kept me linked to her. Its not like I wouldn't choose to be with her anyways. I gazed at the stallion, that I had so abruptly nipped. Escueaza moi, but I was nervous, and in the past studs have not be so gentleman-like. Perhaps this is one thing you should know about me, my persona can change in the blink of an eye. So honey you better watch your back.

Adam smiled slightly. "Internet ad since I was looking for a nice mare to ride when I'm not showing Necro. Her name is Apocalypse." He said calmly. He looked at the other girl calmly. "'fraid I don't know, and honestly I don't care about her lines." He pointed at his stallion. "He's a purebred, but he's pasturebred and one of the best around." He said calmly. Oh yeah, he doesn't care much for pedigrees, he prefers to let the horse do the talking with their own movements and such and not be based off of their lines, because even the two best of horses when bred together could create a horrid horse. Necromancer eyed the white minx cooly, not wanting to be bit again, even though he figured he'd nearly escaped being bit on his muzzle. His harks flicked towards Adam when he caught sound of his nickname. Show? And of course he was the best. After all, how many other stallions did one see around here and how many mares. And since he was like the only one around all of the mares where his if you really think about it. Apocalypse's harks pinned against her boa eyeing the other horses warily. She snorted and shied sideways, tossing her dial high and half-rearing before the man's weight forced her down. She stared at him through her dark brown eyes, wondering what in the world gave him them authority to control her, at least around other horses.

Mai turned to look at Darian, whom had suddenly blurted something out about the mare's lines being 'Shaqab'.. "Shaqab? Ist er wichtig oder etwas? Is he important?" She asked, geniunely curious, for she did not know.. Mai wasn't very good with popular bloodlines, especially with 'Show Ponies*' that where only good to look at and needed attention like a small babe.. She preferred hard effort and work in the ring and out of the ring, in rain, snow, and mud. Firecracker would agree. Coming back to Adam she let her smile return, even at the mare's slight antics, "Ah, ja, she ist very beautiful. You are lucky you found her before someone else did sie wissen." Mai said easily with a nod before adding, in curiosity, "It looks like she just needs to settle a bit, ja?. So nervous. When did she arrive?" She asked, knowing that it couldn't have been that long ago, since she had not seen the mare about anywhere.. And she would have noticed a horse like that from a mile away. She was hard to miss.
Firecracker on the other hand, did not pay attention to the colt nor the two fillies any longer. She was more interested now that other horses where about. Snorting, she gave the newcomer a wicker, a friendly greeting before turning her cranium to Necromancer, whom seemed a bit weary. Probably not wanting to get bit again; Fire snorted and tossed her crown in slight amusement before reaching her muzzle out to him, lipping at a piece of his mane before pulling back, as if saying, 'Not all of us bite, you know.'
*Show ponies, translates to Mai as horses who are only bred for their looks and are only meant to win because of their looks. She dislikes this because to her, looks are not everything in a horse.
-Ist er wichtig oder etwas? Is he important? -Ja Yes -Sie wissen you know

Adam looked around calmly hearing another's footsteps headed in their direction then his son's voice speaking. "You're fine Aiden." He said turning, nodding and smiling at his son. He looked over at Mai and Darian. "Mai, Darian, my son Aiden. Aiden, Mai and Darian, two riders for the stable." He said nodding to each as he introduced them. He noted the dogs lounging beside his son and didn't really mind as long as they didn't mess with the horses. That was truly all he minded about, as long as no animals got hurt because of another. Necromancer's dark dial swung and eyed his master's boy coolly, and looked down eyeing the dogs disdainfully, but he stood still, other than pawing at the ground. His dial swung around eyeing the painted mare calmly when she'd pulled his mane. He snorted softly and shifted in place eyeing the others calmly. He was not about to get harmed, simple as that. The snowy mare's haunches bunched, threatening to lash out at the sight of the dogs. Her creamy banner lashed through the air before she lurched forward when the man swung the rope at her haunches. She tossed her dial and snorted loudly, picking up and placing her feet carefully as she moved away to the end of the rope and stood there, ears pinned against her fine skull.
